"The Greasy Pole II" St. Peter’s Fiesta is held every year in June and is one of Gloucester’s most celebrated traditions. The Greasy Pole competition is a highlight that draws a huge crowd, as contestants try to get the flag by walkingthe greased pole. 17” x 23” artwork size.
"The Traveller" As seen in Gloucester Harbor many years ago, this old wooden boat has a lot of history and intrigue. Some say it was an old war boat; it was abandoned on its mooring and the city had to take it out to sea and sink it. At any rate it’s a look at a piece of Gloucester history! 19” x 13”
"Beacon Marine with Yellow Dory" SOLDBeacon Marine is a Gloucester icon….practically falling into the water, it is still an active marine facility and also has rented apartments. It’s been a favorite subject of mine for years. This yellow dory made for a nice contrast in color and subject matter. 20” x 26” in the frame.
"Zeke's Place" Sadly, Zeke’s closed permanently in 2024. But it had been , for many years, a favorite breakfast spot in East Gloucester overlooking Cripple Cove. 18” x17” in a whitewashed wood frame.
"Snow Squall at the Footbridge" A sudden snow squall at Good Harbor Beach nearly obliterates Salt Island. Beautiful soft pastel colors.
